Established in 1898 and set in secluded parkland, the picturesque course at Hornsea Golf Club is ranked and regarded as one of the finest courses in Yorkshire. Speak to anyone that has played it and they will all agree with most coming back year after year.
The Club offers you a genuinely warm welcome with an area to practice if you wish before you will enjoy a challenging round of golf on a course that offers mature fairways, plenty of bunkers and superb greens.
The course is a traditional links design, with the first seven holes running outward towards the iconic water tower. A double loop of five holes, including the signature hole, 11th, brings the golfer to Hornsea’s famous inward stretch, possibly the finest six finishing holes in the county.
The Professional shop at Hornsea is always well stocked with everything a golfer could need. If your party requires any longest drive or nearest the pin markers they will be happy to help. Ride on golf buggies, electric trolleys and pull trolleys are available to hire but pre booking for the ride on buggies and electric trolleys is essential to avoid disappointment.
In the Clubhouse, whether socialising with members or visitors alike, you can be sure of the very best service from all of our staff. With a large selection of drinks available from the bar and a comprehensive ever changing menu all golfers will be kept happy before and after their rounds. Many on a nice day sit outside on the large patio area and watch fellow golfers finish the challenging 18th hole.
